Our entrepreneurs raise funds for Hope House
This Christmas we gave a ‘gift that counts’ to Hope House by raising a tremendous £1,337.54 at our annual Christmas Enterprise Fair.
The fair was held in the Peter Humphreys Centre which was full of festive fun as pupils, teachers, parents and friends of the School rushed to buy handcrafted gifts, homemade food and take part in numerous games and challenges which had been prepared by the young Oswestrian entrepreneurs.
Hope House is the school’s designated charity this term and with this in mind the prize for the stall that gave the largest donation went to Wonderful Waffles who supplied delicious home-cooked waffles. The handcrafted birdfeeders and gifts stall manned by Samuel Hughes and Matthew Bates won the prize for 'Best Business Idea' while the Oz Fruit Machine run by young Oswald members won 'Best Presented Stall'.
Burnaby house raised the most money from contributions from both House stalls and individual stalls just pipping Donne to the House Enterprise Shield for the third year running.
