Art & Technology Pupils Love Paris in the Springtime
GCSE and A level art and technology pupils have been on a cultural four day adventure to Paris.
Pupils made the most of their time by visiting the Centre Pompidou opening their eyes to a world of art and its diversity. Photography students snapped the iconic Eiffel Tower at night and took advantage of having a high viewpoint overlooking the rooftop landscape of central Paris.
From Paris the pupils travelled to the Palace of Versailles where they visited the The Hall of Mirrors as well as the elaborate gardens outside. Returning to the capital the children went to Musée du Louvre seeking out the famous ‘Mona Lisa’ portrait. The last museum visited was the Musée d’Orsay, smaller than the Louvre, but crammed with artwork from Van Gogh, Claude Monet and Paul Cezanne.
