Adventure Education weekend
The Adventure Education Department organised a successsful weekend to Capel Curig with staff and pupils. They took part in a range of activities including climbing, walking, navigation and mountain skills. The cold weather conditions enabled the climbers to practise their winter mountaineering skills and make use of their ice axes and crampons.
After a busy day, the customary hot chocolate was obviously required to help them defrost!
The pupils involved expressed their gratitude to all the staff involved; Mr Morris, Miss James, Mr McIntyre, Mr Othen and particularly Mr Till for his educational Mountain Skills course and his enthusiasm over the whole weekend.
One of the group members said about the weekend, "I recommend that everyone should take full advantage of these opportunities, as they are experiences not to be missed!"
